We are now looking to add a Host/Hostess to our exceptional staff.

The Host/Hostess supervises and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure fast and courteous service to our guests. He/She schedules dining room reservations, arranges parties, special events, and/or special services for diners. A representative list of duties is as follows:
• Receives and records patrons' dining reservations
• Greets guests and seats them at tables or in waiting areas
• Inspects dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
• Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service
• Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness
• Maintains contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and guests' concerns are promptly addressed
• Requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations
• May interview, hire, and discharge dining room personnel
• Trains dining room employees
• Schedules work hours and keeps time records of dining room workers
• May assist in planning menus
• May prepare beverages and expedite food orders
• Operates cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages
• Prepare cash receipts after establishments close, and make bank deposits
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
  Authorized to work in the United States
  Must be 18 years of age or older
  Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
  Upbeat and truly personable demeanor
  Prior food service or customer service experience preferred
  Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  High school diploma or GED desired
  Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  Stand for long periods of time
  Able to lift 30 pounds to waist level
